Cheap Bukataria

You want to eat Amala and you entered into an ‘Eatry’ my friend it’s like you want to waste money.

The place you can get the best Amala is a local ‘buka’ and it must have the following features:

1. A gutter must pass in front of it

2. The woman turning the Amala or serving it must be thick - very important

3. You must see a giant kettle at one corner (sabi people go don know how far) - it’s now being replaced with wash basin sha.

4. There must be a wooden table outside where the ogunfe is being dissected.

5. You must hold your plate and queue to get served.

6. The woman must have one plastic container with cover (usually used paint container -Ike oda) or a big waist bag - igbanu.

7. You must sweat after eating no matter how fast the fan is running.

If you don’t see any of this abeg shift o.

I ate Amala and Abula at Ultima and they used groundnut oil to prepare the stew.

Imagine!
