Earlier this morning, I featured as a guest speaker on Western Spring Television, Osogbo, for the Morning Spring programme, where we deliberated on the topic: “Osun State Park Management Bill: What Will Change in the State’s Transport Sector?”
I reiterated that the Bill seeks to strengthen the regulation and management of motor parks, block revenue leakages, improve the State’s IGR, digitalise ticketing, and promote greater transparency and accountability in transport revenue collection.
The Bill also provides measures to curb thuggery, violence, extortion and other unlawful activities in motor parks across Osun State.
The session was anchored by Mr. Femi Ojo and his co-host, with my dear friend and colleague, the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriations, Hon. Saheed Olumide Fatumise, also in attendance and he adequately contributed to the discussion.
Behold a more organised transport sector, a more accountable system and better service for the people of Osun.
