1. ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE REVOLUTION - From Grading to Tarring
This is his signature. No Senator before him did this.
- Twin Roads Commissioned: Construction and commissioning of Oriolowo/Agbele Road and Fojugbagi/Adediti Road, Iwo LGA, on the same day - a historic first.
- Breaking the Jinx: Flag-off and construction of Akinola-Iyemoja Street, Iwo - a community road abandoned since creation, now tarred.
- Strategic Link Roads:
- Construction of Ogberin Junction to Ede Polytechnic South Gate, in Ede
- Construction of Bovas - Araromi Road, Oluponna, AYEDIRE LGA.
- Construction of Total - Abiri Junction Road in ISOKAN LGA
- Oke-Ola/Anajere/Sagba/Ilupeju Junction Road, in IREWOLE LGA
- Construction of Obada Market to Wakajaye Junction in Gbongan, AYEDAADE LGA
- Construction of Olomowewe road in Okinni, leading to Young Tajudeen School and Palace Road, EGBEDORE LGA
- Construction of Onijayi-Akogun-Ikoyi Eleja road, in Ile-igbo, AIYEDIRE LGA
- New Projects: Construction of Akinola Iyemoja Road in IWO LGA
- Construction of Adebisi Sawmill/Oduduwa/Anajere/Oke-Olufi/Sekere-Ayo/Sango road, in Ikire, IREWOLE LGA
- Rural Economy Booster: Massive grading of over 250KM of rural farm-to-market roads across all 10 LGAs - reducing post-harvest loss and opening Iwo, Ikire, Gbongan, Ede and Ejigbo corridors.
2. RURAL ELECTRIFICATION & POWER STABILITY - LIGHT UP OSUN WEST
- Procurement and installation of Three (3) 500KVA Transformers at Sunmoye, Islamiyah and Ako Communities, Ikire, Irewole LGA.
- Installation of Solar-Powered Streetlights in Islamiyah Area, Ikire, Iwo, Ede, Ejigbo and other communities - improving security and extending night business hours.
- Swift legislative intervention with the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) to replace the damaged Transmission Breaker at Ajebandele Sub-station, Ile-Ife, restoring stable electricity to Ikire, Apomu, Ikoyi, Wasinmi, Gbongan and Orile-Owu in Irewole, Isokan & Ayedaade.
3. AGRICULTURE & FOOD SECURITY AGENDA
- Distribution of 500 bags of fertiliser to rural farmers across the senatorial district.
- Empowerment of 100 fish farmers with a N10 Million grant after intensive 2-day training in modern fish farming by Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology.
- Support for 200 petty traders with N4 Million grant to boost their businesses in Ikire.
- Over N25 Million general support for women, youths and farmers to combat fuel subsidy hardship.
4. EDUCATION, HEALTH & HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT
- Education Advocacy: Moved a motion in the Senate for urgent intervention against discrimination of Nigerian medical graduates from Ukraine by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) - defending our children.
- Inclusive Health: Distribution of wheelchairs to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and facilitation of free health outreach.
- Skills & Vocation: Training of youths and women in solid minerals mining with cash grants—provision of electric sewing machines, barbering kits, generating sets and grinding machines for self-reliance.
5. UNPRECEDENTED ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT - OVER N320 MILLION
One of the largest single empowerment programs in Osun history:
Distribution of SUVs, Tricycles (Keke Napep), 120 Bajaj Motorcycles for artisans across wards, Deep Freezers, Grinding Machines, and sewing machines to over 1,000 beneficiaries, covering vulnerable women, youths, master artisans and party faithful.
6. EFFECTIVE LEGISLATION & NATIONAL RELEVANCE
As Deputy Minority Leader, Osun West now has a seat at the national decision table.
- Motions: On devastating flooding in Ikire, Apomu and Gbongan; Urgent need to rehabilitate Ibadan-Ilesa Expressway - the economic lifeline of Osun West.
- Bills: Sponsored Bill for Constitutional Amendment on State House of Assembly Constituency (First Reading). A lawmaker who understands lawmaking, oversight and budgeting.
